During the 2023 US Open, the team turned NYC into a celebration of the WTA’s 50th anniversary— amplifying WTA x Hologic messages through eye-catching car wraps and digital tops.

50 years of inspiring women, breaking records, and shaping the future of sports deserves more than just a simple “congratulations”. It deserves a celebration surrounded by fans and athletes in a city buzzing with excitement. That’s exactly what transpired this past weekend as our clients the Women's Tennis Association (@wta) commemorated their 50th anniversary.
Among the bustling streets of NYC, the tennis community was witnessing more than just the @usopen. They were watching custom-designed taxis cruise through the crowds displaying iconic athletes like @serenawilliams and @venuswilliams, @mariasharapova, @chrissieevert, and @martinanavratilova. Even more, the athletes themselves got to see and ride in these custom cars when going to and from an extraordinary gala honoring WTA’s 50 incredible years.
From current players to retired legends, the design merged the past and present of the WTA and captured the essence of the organization’s remarkable journey. We couldn’t be happier to have helped our clients showcase their history and triumphs with this custom out-of-home campaign, in partnership with @firefly_cities.
